TV Manager 2 – Update 1.2.2

April 30, 2010

I have updated TV Manager 2 to beta version 1.2.2.

For about a week there has been a problem with the installation of the demoversion. This has been fixed now and a new demoversion has been uploaded.

All fullversions have been updated.

Anything you would like have changed or improved? Is the game too easy? Too difficult? Just right?

Please go and buy a copy. You support the development of other games in the future.

V. 1.2:
– Edited movies etc. are now correctly appearing in custom games.
– Date in the TV program table screen now corrected
– Manual updated slightly
– Various custom game mode bugs fixed
– Bug fixed where you could not access the save/load screen after
loading a game
– Bug fixed in the movie editor where all movies were displayed
to have two-stars.
– NEW: If you choose the “late game” in the custom mode under
“starting conditions” the TV companies have already spread to
different regions.

TV Manager 2 – Hotfix (V. 1.1)

April 3, 2010

I have uploaded a hotfix for TV Manager 2 fixing a couple of bugs:

V 1.1:
– Yellow text removed at the top of TV program table (was meant
only for the blind compatibility mode)
– Ads description and prices show correctly (again caused by the
inclusion of the blind compatibility mode)
– If you click on “pause” manually the TV will not continue to run
automatically when your mouse cursor leaves the TV screen or the
audience pictures.
– Live sport events can now not be moved on the program table anymore
(this was a bug).

Windows 7 64-bit compatibility

April 3, 2010

Just got an email from a customer, he wrote:

“Niels,

I got it to work on my OS Windows 7 64-bit by changing the following in
“Compatibility” mode:

1.      Check “Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
2.      Check “Disable Visual themes”
3.      Check “Disable desktop composition”

After the above was enabled, the demo ran (and tutorial) ran smoothly.

Nice program, a definite will purchase…Elliot[…]”

Thanks Elliot for sharing this.

(Comments about the game in the release thread please)
